When Russell Associates became involved there were industrial sheds on the site and there was a history of Planning Refusals including at Appeal. Russell Associates introduced Buxton Homes to the site and negotiated a Scheme with the Planning Department for 9 victorian style cottages arranged around a private courtyard, with a gated entrance.

The materials, style and detailing reflect the buildings on the adjacent streets and put the development in context.
